A new field reporter for TrueStrange just phoned in a developing situation in Richmond, CA. While driving across the Richmond Bridge she experienced a huge hanging black mushroom cloud. She drove through the smoke and instantly got a headache from some unknown toxic fumes coming into the car. She said the cloud was very ominous and looked like nothing she had ever seen, definitely something very bad.
Only for a few minutes did I entertain the idea that this could be a nuclear accident or attack. We hopped on the wire and found that there is a Shelter in Place alert due to a scrap metal fire at 600 South Fourth Street. That’s Sim’s Metal America.

A Nixle alert was sent out on behalf of the fire department that said unless you are using your fireplace, close your fireplace dampers and vents. Remain sheltered indoors until you receive further official instructions.
