Crazy. It seems to be very unlizardlike behavior. Add appropriate X-Files music. When I first saw it, I wondered if this was completely spontaneous or the result of months (years?) of behavior approximation training with a food reward. After seeing other lizards do the same thing, I think this may be a natural behavior, an instinct, but I can’t explain it.
TrasherBiner on Youtube had this interesting comment: “Apparently in Lizard language this means “I yield” as in the lizard ackowledges (sic) you are bigger and stronger (therefore a submissive move).”
